Office Angels are working with a global brand for a Procurement administrator. This role is a mix of working from home and office based.
This is going in to a busy role that requires someone with an eye for detail and ability to work well in teams to ensure all process are followed accurately.
Support the buying team on specific projects to learn foundational procurement skills with the intention to work towards a buying assistant grade
Responding to emails received into the procurement inbox from internal customers and taking actions where appropriate, forwarding to other members of the team, or escalating to management.
Liaise with external suppliers for basic queries received into the procurement inbox under the supervision of the Back Office Clerk
Place orders within the set SLA for urgent requests from the business
Agree a project to run independently with support from the buying team and present to managementIn addition
Support the P2P Back Office Clerk with ad-hoc tasks such a running a report or creating presentations
Bring and manage agenda points in the weekly procurement meetings
Evaluate processes worked on and suggest improvements
