The Company

Our client is a fast-paced manufacturer in the UK who supply the major retailers with innovative & delicious products that are market leading. They are now looking for an exceptional Process Technologist to join their dynamic team and progress their career within NPD/Process.

A driving licence is essential for this role.

The Role

You will work collaboratively within the development team to aid the delivery of development strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:

· You will champion process excellence and support cross functional teams to deliver high quality process development / innovation projects

· You will ensure products are created and distributed effectively to the expectations of their customers

· You will take control with raw materials sign off as well as labelling and packaging approval, driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the business

· In addition you’ll trial and implement new products, processes and equipment into plant through analytical data skills and documentation

The Person

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Technologist with a Food Science or Technology qualification. You will have previous experience of working in a similar development position within the food manufacturing industry.

You’ll have an analytical and practical approach to tasks coupled with the desire to achieve results and drive continuous improvements. You must also have great attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage simultaneous projects as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
