Role: Platform Manager
Location: UK (Remote)

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our platform infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. The Platform Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements and implement solutions accordingly.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement measures to protect against security threats.
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve our platform infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong experience with SC/NPPV3 and OCI combination.
- NPPV3 certification is highly preferred.
- Candidates with 1Z0-997-21: Certified Oracle Cloud Infrastructure will be prioritized.
- Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
