Pension Administrator
A highly regarded financial services organisation based in Ramsbottom are looking for a Pension Administrator to join their expanding team. This is a permanent job opportunity that will be office based. The office hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
THE JOB
Reporting to the company Directors, you will be responsible for supporting the Account Managers in their day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling scheme correspondence, pension scheme investments and pension scheme disinvestments.
- Issuing reminder letters
- Setting up new schemes and filing returns
- Opening and sending post
- Preparing and issuing scheme anniversary packs and invoices
- Processing cash contributions and cash transfers
- Processing pension scheme payments
- Answering the telephone and dealing with general enquiries
- Liaising with banks, insurance companies and investment providers for investment registration, changing signatories, and obtaining valuations
- Updating the back-office systems with information and ensuring accuracy of all records and files
- Reporting any operational risks to the Directors
THE PERSON
The ideal Pension Administrator will be a highly organised and experienced administrator that is used to working to deadlines. Outstanding customer service skills and communication skills are essential. A high attention to detail along with the ability to explain information, both clearly and simply is also essential.
