Overview
Payroll Senior required. My client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Bury St Edmonds and are seeking a payroll senior to join the friendly and growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own client portfolio of payrolls. This opportunity would most suit a candidate with extensive payroll knowledge.
Payroll Senior Position Overview
Manage a portfolio of payrolls for a variety of clients
Manage all pension administration matters, including setting up pension schemes for our clients
Be the point of contact to your clients
Assist/support other staff members with any payroll matters
Deal with any adhoc enquiries as and when they arise
Suitable applicants will have previous experience working in accountancy practice environment, ideally in the payroll department.
Payroll Senior Position Requirements
Payroll processing experience (essential)
Experience using payroll software – preferably Sage
Knowledge of HMRC processes
Knowledge of pension schemes and auto-enrolment processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Suitable candidates will be CIPP qualified/part-qualified.
