At McCain, its not just about what we make, but its about how we make it that’s important. We are looking for a Blueprint Operative to work as part of the Packing team ensuring the correct set up and running of the blue print machines, checkweighers, taper units and inkjet coders.
Based at our Whittlesey plant, you will be responsible for operating the blue prints and shaker units, ensuring the units are running efficiently, adjusting the size of the case shaker as appropriate and initiate reel and blade changes and clear any blockages.
We are looking for someone who can really make a difference to our plant, who brings experience of completing all associated paperwork, and ensuring that Company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. You will also control and maintain the efficient running of the checkweighers; flap detectors and ink jet coders, and ensure the correct date code is on the cases, and that it is correctly positioned and legible
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, be a strong team player, and will have working in a manufacturing environment.

This is a shift position, working 12 hours, days and nights.
