FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Oracle Apex Developer for our client within the professional services sector.

We are looking for a senior APEX developer to lead and undertake application design and development work for Oracle and related applications in SCIO. You will be working with our client within the professional services sector.

Your initial assignment will be working on a defence project and will be expected to hit the ground running on the following tasks:

  • Front end application design and development using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
  • Designing and building role based custom security components in Apex
  • Use of ORDS including build of REST API ’s and OAUTH2 security
  • Apex architecture, installations, and web server integration
  • Multiple full life cycle software project experience from initial design to build, deployment and testing.
  • Agile methodology SCRUM adoption in projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Oracle Databases, including recent projects on Oracle 19 and above
  • Worked with Oracle APEX, including recent projects on versions 20 and above
  • Extensive experience of Oracle databases, scripting, and security
  • Creation of RESTful APIs using Oracle ORDS; API swagger documentation; Apache and Tomcat; BI Publisher; Redhat Linux 7
  • Experienced in HTML, JS, JQuery, AJAX, CSS, and JSON development
  • Senior Oracle Apex Developer who can work both independently as well as a team.
  • Must be SC Clearable
