Overview
New permanent opportunity for an Oracle DBA to join an exciting IT Services Provider on a fully remote basis with immediate effect.
Please note: The role will be fully remote and candidates must be readily available and set up to work from home full-time.
Oracle DBA Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and support AWS RDS instances
- Conduct regular health checks on AWS RDS Oracle instances and provide recommendations based on these results
- Performance investigation, troubleshooting issues and and fine-tuning configurations
- Optimising database operations through cross-collaboration
- Database health checks
Oracle DBA Required Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience as an Oracle DBA
- AWS RDS (2+ years’ experience)
- Oracle Performance tuning tools
- Database monitoring tools (e.g. Solarwinds, ignite etc.)
Oracle DBA Application Process
This is a permanent requirement with a start date ASAP; CV’s are currently being considered and interviews are taking place from 25th March 2024. The interview process will be 1 stage and candidates will need to be available in no more than 4 weeks in order to be considered.
