Office Administrator

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR – MEDTECH COMPANY – CAMBRIDGESHIRE – PART TIME – £22,000 BASIC SALARY (PRO RATA)

Our client is seeking for an experienced Administrator to join their team on a permanent, part- time basis at their new premises in Cambridgeshire.

Our leading client focuses in developing and manufacturing medical devices. This is a great opportunity to join an early-stage but rapidly growing MedTech company and to share in their success as they grow.

THE ROLE:

As an office administrator you will be responsible for all administration functions including purchasing, invoicing, document control, IT liaison and minute taking.

Key Responsibilities:

Raise purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, chase deliveries and deal with goods in paperwork
Assisting with timely settlement of invoices and settle any disputes – input invoices onto XERO
Attend and minute design review meetings and ensure timely close out of any actions
Arrange and minute team meetings
Make travel arrangements as required by other personnel
Carry out all document control related activities as defined in the relevant procedures. This includes new documents, change requests and document reviews
Provide administration support as required by other team members
Carry out regular back up procedures
Be the central contact for IT Issues liaising with IT consultants
Assisting with the supplier evaluation process
Keeping XERO up to date with approved/unapproved suppliers
This is a PART TIME role
Working from our clients Cambridgeshire office
THE PERSON

The successful Office Administrator MUST at least two years’ experience in a similar role
Educated to GCSE or equivalent (ideally A Level or equivalent)
Experience of minute taking
Accounting/book keeping experience is desired but not essential
Working for a medical devices company (and ISO13485)is also desired but not essential
Computer literate – experienced using Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
Literate and numerate
Awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace
Good communication skills
Can work under own initiative
Flexibility to cope with rapidly changing priorities
Positive approach to problem solving
Committed team player
Live within a commutable distance to the Cambridgeshire office
THE PACKAGE

£22,000 Basic Salary – Pro Rata
25 Days Holiday + Statutory days
Pension Scheme (up to 5% contribution)
