Job Profile

As the successful Maintenance Engineer you will experience working for a progressive, forward thinking company who invest heavily in the staff and the most up to date CNC technologies, in a state of the art facility alongside a highly skilled team of engineers.

Duties

* Ensure all machines and ancillary equipment are regularly serviced and breakdowns rectified

* Installation, fault finding, and repairs to CNC & PLC production machinery

* Fitting mechanical and electrical parts, hoses and airlines

* Liaison with supplier engineers and contractors for parts and services

* Keep all maintenance records and relevant documentation up to date

* Implement internal preventative maintenance initiatives to ensure smooth running

* Ensure compliance with quality and environmental systems for all equipment maintenance

* Ensure that all machine and work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times

* Assist other departments with reasonable requests for advice or fault finding to reduce downtime or breakdown costs.

Skills & Experience

* Experience of maintaining CNC machines and PLCs

* Electrical experience 17th Edition or 18th Edition

Hours & Benefits

* 37.5 hrs week

* 4 day week

* 07.30 – 17.15 Monday – Wednesday, Thursday 16.45 finish

* Flexi time available

* Overtime available first 6 hrs x1.33, then x1.5

* 23 days holiday

* Pension
