Microfabrication Technician

We are seeking a Technician with expertise in microfabrication and micro-device assembly for a company in Cambridge to aid the release of their devices into commercial production. Full time or part time applications will be considered. You will be working in a clean room environment constructing microdevices using hands-on assembly methods.
* Degree in Engineering, Physics, Electronics or a closely related discipline (a relevant technical vocational qualification or two or more years of relevant technical experience would also be considered)
* Technical track record in microfabrication or assembly
* Familiar with photolithography / Electronics assembly / Layer deposition techniques such as ALD, PECVD, PVD / Semiconductor processing / Glue dispensing / Precision alignment processes
* Experience of device inspection and quality checking
* Ability to work with complex operating procedures
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent teamworking skills
The following would be beneficial:
* Experience with MEMS devices or microfluidics
* Experience of device-assembly techniques such as those used in displays, solar panels or electronics packaging
* Experience working in a commercial pilot production environment
* Experience with 2D CAD for work with photomasks
* Experience working under a quality standard such as ISO:9001 or similar
