Mechanical SupervisorIf you have ambitions to play a key part in driving our business forwards, then we want you to join us at an exciting time of development and growth to realise your full potential.Here at G & P Engineering, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, where YOU can help support the FM division as a Mechanical Supervisor.Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, G & P Engineering comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades.Your responsibilities:Respond to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible and scoping quotes for repair where first fix is not possible, ensuring minimum downtime.Carry out all planned maintenance tasks as per program and keep accurate auditable records of works planned and completed.To ensure that the site is kept in good order internally and externally – and to give specification and ensure timely completion.Working within all Health and Safety criteria and processes relevant to work activities.Show a proactive approach to Health & safety in the work environment and take the necessary steps to ensure risks are mitigated.Client facing, therefore maintaining high standards of customer care and workmanshipBe flexible and undertake other reasonable duties to accommodate operational requirements.What youll bring:Experience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works / tasks completed within KPIsExperience working on commercial or industrial heating, water or building service systems.Repairs needing immediate action, priced programmed and project workFamiliarity with, and ability to work to Water Supply Regulations and Control of Legionella L8 requirementsExperience of planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and resolution, installations, testing and commissioningWhat will make you stand out from the crowd:Experienced plumber, qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing),C&G 6189 (Plumbing & Heating)and/ orNVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.RewardsCompetitive salary: DOEAt G & P Engineering we look for people who seek:A career that will challenge and motivateA flexible, supportive, and caring environmentThe opportunity to progress, make key decisions and own their futureA high level of variety in day-to-day work lifeLocation: Guildford.Working hours: 08:00 16:00.Employment Type: Sub Contractor CIS / PAYE / Ltd.JBRP1_UKTJ
