Mechanical Plant Maintenance Engineer

As Mechanical Plant Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring steam boilers, compressed air systems, pneumatics, conveyors and all peripheral equipment is kept running to ensure stoppages and breakdowns. Undertake routine maintenance and maintain schedules ensuring that all equipment and plant are able to operate safely and efficiently.

Education & Qualification:
Experience of working as a Plant Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, with experience working on steam boilers and compressed air systems in a manufacturing or process environment. Qualified with Engineering BTEC/City & Guilds/NVQ, or equivalent in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.

Experience:
Completed an appropriate recognised apprenticeship in an Mechanical Engineering discipline, or proven relevant experience in an industrial plant maintenance environment. FLT and IPAF licence ideal but not essential.

Salaries & Hours of Work
Circa £32,194 + Bonus + Excellent Overtime Opportunities.

07:30 – 17:30 with 1 hr lunch. Following a 6 month satisfactory probationary period all engineers are on-call via a rota system
