Management Accountant

Time 4 Recruitment have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Management Accountant to join an expanding company who specialise in the recycling of waste products based in Swansea

As a highly capable Management Accountant your role will be to optimise the financial management company policies. You will be performing financial analysis, preparing financial forecasts, and advising senior management on strategic planning.

To ensure success as a Management Accountant in this role, you should exhibit extensive knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting and have experience in a similar environment. An outstanding Management Accountant will be someone whose financial accounting and business management expertise translates into sustained business growth.

You will be required to attend the site regularly in Swansea , however you will be able to work from home.

Responsibilities:

* Gathering and interpreting information to evaluate the efficiency of financial procedures.

* Analysing key financial data and advising senior management on strategic planning.

* Developing and implementing cost-effective financial policies and procedures, as well as mitigating financial risks.

* Preparing financial reports and budgets, as well as controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.

* Overseeing accounting procedures and supervising junior financial department staff.

* Monitoring auditing and taxation practices, as well as evaluating benefits and compensation packages.

* Ensuring that financial management policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards.

* Performing financial recordkeeping, as well as protecting sensitive and confidential information.

* Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in management accounting.

Requirements:

* Studying towards accountancy professionals (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)

* A minimum of two years' experience as a management accountant in a related business.

* Proficiency in business management and accounting software, such as Xero.

* Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.

* Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.

* Exceptional attention to detail.

* Superb leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
