Maintenance EngineerWelshpoolPermanentUp to £14.79phDouble days rotating weekly Monday to Friday plus 1 Saturday in a monthWe are currently working with a well-established FMCG manufacturing company based in Welshpool who are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer into their skilled team. You will be joining an existing team of Engineers onsite and will be working on a range of manufacturing machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for reacting to breakdowns and working on both electrical and mechanical faults. This company are open to all levels of experience and offer fully funded training opportunities.This role will require you to be flexible for occasional weekend work in peak periods, please apply for further information.The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:Repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipmentCarrying out preventative maintenance to minimise downtimeResponding to machine breakdownsFault finding and diagnosing faultsSupporting with the implementation of new plant equipmentWorking on continuous improvement projectsLiaising with contractors when neededWorking to health and safety regulationsSkills and Experience required:Must hold a relevant engineering discipline or apprentice trainedManufacturing industry experience would be beneficialPLC experience would be ideal but not essentialFlexible to work weekends on occasionThis role would suit a candidate who has previously worked as Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Elec-bias Engineer / Apprentice Engineer / Junior Engineer / Junior Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance TraineeThe application process:Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
