Our Client.
A company which has grown significantly in the last 10 years, leading the way in design and manufacture of EV motors. Our customer is at the forefront of their industry, leading the charge on making a difference.

They have been able to work with some of the major players in Automotive & Formula 1, which is down to their own great work and fantastic engineering team. They have moved from small prototypes to become a high-volume manufacturing operation with circa 200 people in the business now.

Working from their design and manufacturing HQ in Oxford, engineers are able to see the entire life cycle of the product and interact with other engineering professionals to ensure the high standards are met on a regular basis.

The Role & Responsibilities.
>Lead, coordinate and guide the design engineering team.
>Work with key suppliers and support customers to meet project deadlines.
>Collaborate with engineering teams to understand constraints and resolve design/production issues.
>Identify technical opportunities and assess feasibility that may arise from new materials, processes, or designs.
>Develop ideas and design solutions to practical challenges arising from NPD.

What our client is looking for?
>Degree educated or equivalent in engineering (automotive/aerospace is preferred).
>Proven track record for Designing and Developing product line.
>FEA and GD&T experience in your Design work is essential.
>Having lead/mentored/coached other Designers.
>Experience of being customer facing and go to technical expert.

Package (based on experience).
£45,000 to £55,000 per annum, plus benefits.
