This is an exciting opportunity to take a pivotal role in the growth and development of a Landscaping depot. You will manage the day to day running of Bespoke Landscaping Sites that include the sales offices and show homes for new build housing sites and podium, roof gardens in city centres. The company are the “go-to” resource for Contractors and Developers needing a professional Landscaping service and you will have a central role in the ongoing success of your team. The Job:

This position has overall responsibility for all of the Landscaping sites within their area which normally total about 20 of which 10 sites will be “live” at any one time. The sites are primarily soft landscaping projects, associated with new build housing developments. The Operations Manager is responsible for;

* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the contract specification

* Ensuring that the companies quality standards are maintained

* Creating a post installation O&M manual

* Liaising with the client, maintaining good relations and ensuring that any agreed remedials are completed to the client’s satisfaction

* Responsibility for the regions financial performance including resource scheduling and procurement

* Pre-mobilisation site inspection and survey including risk assessments and site-specific instructions

* Day to day responsibility for the operational team, including appraisals and inductions for new starters

* Supporting the Regional Manager and Sales Manager in pricing future projects and tender submissions

The Person:

You will currently be in a Landscaping role with several years’ experience and have good horticultural and construction site experience.

* Professional and proactive in your approach, with excellent Influencing and communication skills

* Commercial acumen including accurate cost control, efficient procurement, production of timely valuations, pricing of variations and compensation events.

* Good contractual awareness including experience of managing works in accordance with NEC3, NEC4, JCT & JCLI forms of contract.

* Understand Health and Safety compliance / ISOH Regulations

* Good computer skills across all Microsoft programmes.

* CSCS Card and ideally SMSTS / SSSTS

* Full clean UK driving licence
