Key Account Manager

We have an opportunity for an ambitious, entrepreneurial Key Account Manager to join our client, an innovative chemical manufacturer, exceptional at capturing, holding and releasing materials as and when needed; capturing odours, pollutants, allergens and viruses.

Business is moving at a fast pace so it is hard to fully define the role, but the following outlines the new BDE responsibilities:

External Responsibilities:

Take key account management for selected strategic distributors and multi-national prospects; this will require developing strong working relationships quickly in order to convert sales and develop growth.
Research multi-national target companies to identify technology needs that overlap with our Chemtech, then account-map for key decision makers and prepare account penetration plan.
Become the KAM for selected small companies for B2B sales with a particular focus on pathfinding new application areas for the technology that can be exploited globally.Industry Experience

A few years sales/KAM experience in a B2B capacity. Preferably in a technical sales capacity.
Chemistry / Materials Science (or similar) graduate with clear intent and character for selling and closing deals.
B2B account management or Sales for commercial experience, not necessarily in chemicals
