Overview
Madisons Recruitment are currently looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team for a permanent opportunity close to the Reading area in Berkshire.
Our client specialise in a range of dry-lining and fit out projects across the South region.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders
- Manage change control, identify pricing, and negotiate variations
- Provide contractual and commercial advice to all areas of the business
- Provide commercial input in to production and monitor / update project programmes
- Assisting with cost to completes and cost value reconciliations on projects
- Any other duties allocated by management
- Attending site meetings and measuring drawings
Skills:
- Internal fit out experience would be preferred
- Excellent commercial and financial knowledge and budgetary skills.
- A strong team-player.
- A drive to succeed.
- The ability to communicate with clients and suppliers.
- Flexible working attitude.
- Computer literate
- Full UK driving license
