Join our Living Places team as an IT Field Engineer and you’ll be a big part of fascinating, complex, varied and meaningful work.Provide onsite support the use of Visual Management on the contract utilising available systems and data. Support improvement projects by developing, reviewing, and analysing. This will require travel to various locations around Warwickshire and Solihull.What you’ll be doingAs an IT Field Engineer, you will have the following accountabilities:Identification of digital improvements / innovation and support changes to Warwickshire and Solihull Contract to improve performance.Support a culture of continuous improvement through engagement with contract team to enable innovation across all aspects of the contract.Act as the point of contact for all IT and digital activities on the contract, driving improvement in the use of IT, while ensuring appropriate use by all staff.Act as a Super User for all IT systems and platforms used on the contract, specifically:Confirm, BMI360 and other local systems: Account management, user training, error reporting and local ownership of system issues for escalation and onward resolutionOffice 365: Ownership of the local SharePoint site, including all management and administration of user access and site contentHardware: Local issue resolution and management of contract IT devices including tablets and mobile phones, acting as the interface with Group IT for all activities, ordering, set up, decommissioning etcAssisting with site-based hardware (Tablets) as required across all areas of the contract.Who we’re looking forYou will have the following:Confident IT / System userDriving licenceUnderstands technology and its role in delivering our transformationAble to make effective decisionsAnalyticalStakeholder management / motivated to deliver customer satisfactionCompliance with all aspects of Balfour Beatty and client HSEA policiesManagement of all aspect of project data in terms of reporting requirements.Why work for usDay in, day out, our teams deliver some of the UK’s most ambitious, exciting and meaningful projects; developing, building and maintaining the vital infrastructure that supports national economies and strengthens communities.Why join us?As if contributing to and supporting work that makes life better for millions wasn’t rewarding enough, we offer a full range of benefits too.
