Our client is a thriving architectural design practice specializing in commercial, retail, and office fit-out projects across the UK.
They are currently seeking a creative Mid-weight Interior Designer to join their innovative and rapidly expanding team. This is a permanent position allowing you to be a key player in the delivery of exceptional projects, with long-term career growth prospects.
As Interior Designer your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the architectural team to bring original design concepts to life.
- Managing and executing projects from the initial concept to installation, ensuring a high standard of quality.
- Engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Creating mood boards, presentations and furniture schedules, as well as coordinating with suppliers.
- Overseeing and maintaining communication with contractors during the installation phase.
- Staying informed about industry trends and emerging design innovations to continuously enhance your work.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years commercial design experience.
- Creativity with strong presentation skills, a versatile approach to design.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- A hands-on, adaptable approach with a proactive attitude.
- Confident communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, clients, contractors and suppliers.
