Installations General Sales Manager – Multi Channel Home Improvement Retailer

Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a well established, successful and growing Home Improvement Retailer who are now looking to appoint an Installations General Sales Manager to further enhance their sales return and solidify their excellent customer relationships based on service and efficiency.

As the Installations General Sales Manager your role will be to manage their existing field sales team of circa 20 FTE, leading, developing, coaching and inspiring them to achieve the highest level of sales, conversion and ATV, whilst maintaining service, standards and efficiencies at all times. Your role will be accountable for the overall performance of the sales teams and their financial return whilst also delivering and exceeding all required performance measures and become best in class.

Please note that this is a remote based working role and will require travel as and when is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conducting regular 121s, reviews and appraisals with Team leaders and Sales Executives
Exceed all operational performance targets for the Sales team with respect to revenue and service contribution.
Analysing processes to identify process re-engineering opportunities, operational improvements and efficiencies.
Monitor the output of teams including adherence to agreed telephony standards, sales KPI's daily workload targets and accuracy of all admin related activity
Motivate and inspire the Team Leaders to drive enhanced business performance and increase their own capabilities.
Ability to contribute to the departmental budgeting and highlight costs to ensure corrective action is taken.
Nurturing internal and external relationships between key partners and departments such as Marketing, Supply Chain and LogisticsTo be considered for this role you must display the following:

Minimum of 4 years' experience of managing a remote field sales team in a fast paced multi-channel retail environment.
Experience and understanding of the retail industry and customer expectations
Track record of delivering effective personal development plans and exceeding sales targets
Managing a high volume of sales and aftercare customer requests via telephone and Email
Knowledge of the home improvement market and associated design software
Experience of managing and nurturing relationships with potential customers
