This is an exciting time to join the team as we are busy developing new materials and processes to meet the challenges of manufacturing in recycled, biodegradable and compostable materials.

As an Injection Moulding Setter you'll set up & run the production line, with a primary focus on the efficient running of moulds & injection moulding machines, ensuring you meet Health & Safety, Quality and production standards & targets. Alongside this, you'll carry out operational tasks associated with manufacturing, maintaining machinery, packaging and inspection of products.

As part of your role, you'll be involved in:
· Tooling / Injection Mould installation and setup
· Process Optimisation & Fault Finding
· Quality Inspection & Testing
· Setup of ancillary equipment
· Routine machine Maintenance

In order for your application to be considered, you'll need:
· Training and experience in Injection Mould Setting
· Strong technical & trouble shooting skills
· Have a logical and Methodical approach to your work.
· Be a team player with good communication skills

Ideally, suitable applicants will have formal training in injection moulding such as a 'Polymer Training Innovation Course' or similar at Level 3 or above, and substantive experience working within an injection mould shop

It would be desirable if the applicant also had experience of other processes such as Extrusion Blow Moulding, Injection Blow Moulding and PET Stretch Blow Moulding, however successful applicants who do not have this experience may have the opportunity to cross train in these processes.

The business has been operating continuously throughout the recent C-19 pandemic and have taken all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of their staff at all times, following government guidelines.

Please note all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK
