We are currently supporting a leading Security business based in Swanley, who have identified the value in investing in a dedicated HR Manager to contribute to business growth and to support future expansion plans.
This is a brand new and exciting opportunity to put in place an HR structure that creates a solid foundation for stability as well as deliver an excellent employee experience. The specific emphasis is on the construction of a company-wide approach to the management of people and building relationships in the business to embed these successfully.
The role develops and implements people management programmes that will result in company improvement, sustainability and profitability through the appropriate hiring, training & development and reward of employees.
The HR Manager will partner with people leaders on activities such as job design, employee relations, performance management and talent management.
Key Responsibilities And Duties Of This Role….

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Conduct employee on-boarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation
  • Coach managers in all aspects of people management
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Take responsibility for and oversee all aspects of HR administration (e.g. maintain employee files on electronic and paper form)
  • Support the recruitment and selection process and coach people leaders in making excellent hiring decisions
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Support training needs analysis and advise the business on training
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

Requirements

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field or possessing/studying CIPD qualifications
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Demonstrable experience with HR best practice and labour law

Benefits

  • Salary between £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
  • Monday- Friday 7.30am-4.30pm
