The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.

We are now looking for an HR Administrator (Learning and Development) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As an HR Administrator, you will support the HR team to deliver the highest possible standards of service to staff across our organisation.

With a focus on learning and development, you will act as the first point of contact for first-level learning and development queries from both staff and suppliers and manage the administration of our new learning management system, resolving queries from staff.

You will be joining us at an exciting time as our workforce continues to develop. Now with around 325 permanent and fixed term employees and a seasonal workforce, our team is made up of operational staff, office-based staff and seasonal staff in our Retail and Leisure teams.

You will also work across a variety of other HR areas, including recruitment, payroll and general HR queries as required.

Additionally, you will:

– Support the introduction of a new e-learning offer
– Assist with the development and distribution of learning course materials and information
– Ensure compliance with GDPR

About You

To be considered as an HR Administrator, you will need:

– The ability to draft routine HR letters and explain policies and procedures in plain English
– Excellent customer service skills
– Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
– Good numeracy skills
