Do you have experience in healthcare and are looking for a change?Do you need flexibility and to choose your own hours on a weekly basis; then this might be the role for you?Job description:* Assisting other members of staff with giving care* To promote and assist individuals to maintain their personal hygiene, cleanliness and appearance* Assisting the individuals with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet* Utilising equipment to move individuals when necessary* Helping tidy the individual’s home or room* Taking the individuals vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature* Talking to individuals and reassuring themAs a Healthcare assistant you will need to:* Be able to effectively communicate with individuals* Have compassion, empathy and understanding* Have a positive friendly energy* Reliable* Wear a uniform* Undertake any other appropriate duties as required by the individual(s) that you support, perform all duties in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.* Be aware of, and follow the procedure for, reporting any safeguarding concerns or incidents, keep accurate records* Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the individuals you support and your colleaguesBenefits of working with Onpoint Care:* Full and part-time hours available.* Choose the days you want to work.* Days and Night shifts are available.* Full training is provided including NVQs.* Competitive rates of pay.* PAYE only for this placement (self-employed welcome in other settings)* Pension scheme.* Holiday pay.* FAST track recruitment available
