The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in API Management platform building, including the design, development, design, architecture, delivery, and maintenance of an API platform.
- Ensure that the API initiatives meet the needs and expectations of all parties involved.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of scalable, highly available, and disaster recovery-enabled platforms
- Experience in aligning API strategies with broader business goals and digital transformation initiatives. Developing broad API capabilities across the organisation.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, digital transformation strategies, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Exceptional ability in leading diverse software engineering teams, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Previous experience of leadership to development teams and being able to evaluate complex delivery risks and issues accurately and objectively.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to work
- Making sound and good decisions, understanding the right level of risk and influencing others
