Teconnex is a privately owned Global manufacturing organisation with manufacturing sites located in Keighley, Romania, Mexico and India, we are part of the Hexadex group of companies.
The role is based from our Keighley, head office and supports the Teconnex IT infrastructure, leading a small IT Technical team based on site.
This is a key role for our modernisation of information systems, the Head of Information systems, will be responsible for the IS strategy, implementation, and management of technology solutions. Enabling the organisation to achieve its business goals, improve efficiency, and maintain competitive edge.
- Work in collaboration with peers (head of departments) within operating functions throughout the Teconnex group.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud-based solutions.
- Lead on projects to include, modernisation, cloud-based solutions, full utilisation of MS 365 suite, to suit business requirements.
- Manage the ERP function globally ensuring that Epicor is aligned fully for the Global business needs and operates effectively.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement, addressing potential issues before they impact operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technology requirements and support the integration of new systems and applications.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (masters degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within IT, with a focus on systems and infrastructure management.
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture, including on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, data management, and disaster recovery.
- Previous experience managing and motivating a diverse IT team, fostering a collaborative work environment, international experience would be an advantage, as we have sites in Mexico, India and Romania.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated project management experience, delivering initiatives on time and within budget.
- Certifications in relevant technologies and IT management (e.g., ITIL, Azure) would be a plus.
- Management, development and delivery of IT systems within a medium sized Global environment, ideally manufacturing.

- Server architectures, Storage & Networking
- Microsoft 365 full suite
- Cloud based and security systems Server and client operating systems
