Global Asset Coordinator

Technique Recruitment Solutions specialises in recruitment for manufacturing industries across East Anglia and is working on behalf of a global machinery manufacturer based in Norwich. They have an exciting new opportunity for a Global Asset Coordinator to join their team to coordinate the relocation of machinery and components against new machinery demand. The ideal candidate will come from a technical background with a relevant engineering qualification or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering. The role will also rely heavily on the use of their ERP/MRP system in order to schedule machinery movements, audits and reconditioning. There may be occasional overseas travel (2-5%). However the working hours will differ as calls will be scheduled with customers and agents globally

Key Performance Indicators
Minimise the quantity of non-revenue generating assets.
Utilisation of available suitable assets.(machinery or components)
Reporting of available assets. (machinery or components)

Key Accountabilities
Able to identity and assess equipment/applicator assets and maintain status reports E1.
Integrate available assets to fulfil demand contained in SOP files.
Development of assessment criteria and audits via Field Service teams globally.
Generation of reporting to compliment end of contract, off contract and disposal planning requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Co-ordination of off contract applicator assets with field service and customer service teams.
Defining minimum specification of installed equipment.
Audit follow up and installed equipment update planning with Field Service team.
Co-ordination of Fleet Replacement program globally.
Arranging asset disposals with Finance and Field Service teams
Oversight of reconditioning cost budget and cost of ownership metrics for installed equipment.
Liaison with Market Management Groups and Agents globally
To abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety.

Personal Specification
Experience managing equipment supply or servicing program
Asset condition auditing
Use of CMMS system or approach
Managing operational budgets
Development of tools on desktop
Producing and reading reports
Advanced level for Excel including vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables
