Family Support Worker

Temporary Full Time

We are looking for looking for an experienced Family Support Worker to join a charity, who hold positive outcomes of families and their children at the centre of everything they do.

Your responsibilities will include supporting families with support needs, holding a caseload and taking part in Case Supervision. You will provide families with information, advice and guidance and signposting on various issues as well as Support Drop In sessions. You will be experienced at using solution focused approach to ensure the best outcomes for children and as part of your role you be offering guidance on support of childcare, child development, child safety, nutrition, early educational. As well as one to one sessions with families, you will also have an opportunity to deliver group intervention programmes including parent and freedom programmes.

This role really requires someone with experience of children and young people or children and family support, assessment and writing reports. You will be driven by improving lives and the outcomes of children and be adept at carrying out sessions with families and groups

Essential Requirements:

* Experience of delivering support and producing positive outcomes in a Family Support role.

* Have previous experience of assessment and complex case planning.

* Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months
