Factory ManagerIndustry: ManufacturingLocation: Central WightHours: 40 hours per week ( dayshift)Days: Monday – FridayDuration: PermanentDuties:responsible for overseeing the days to day running of the factory, production and logistics including:Plan and forecast of materials and resources to ensure production schedules are adhered to.Review and implement production processes to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness, quality and health and safety.Allocate work, monitor performance, motivate, mentor, train and develop staffOversee incoming and outgoing goods.Oversee up keep of factory site and organise maintenance where required.Experience:Must have previous experience of manufacturing management including planning of materials and resources and knowledge of continuous improvement processes.Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop staff to maximise potential, as well as the ability to work well as part of a team.Must have a good understanding of health & safety and relevant qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH)Must have a good level of organisational and problem solving skills with the ability to work to deadlines and quality standards.Must have a good level of computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems.Must have B1 Forklift Licence and a full driver’s licence.Salary: £35-45,000 per annum, dependent upon experienceInterested? go to the apply now section
