Job Title: Mobile Fabric Engineer – Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Location: Reading and surrounding areas
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
Responsibilities:

– Execute reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks at stores within the RG postcodes.
– Undertake repairs, inspections, and general fabric maintenance duties.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
– Collaborate with on-site teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Requirements:
– Proven experience in fabric maintenance, with a focus on reactive and PPM tasks.
– Competency in using mobile tools and applications for job tracking.
– Familiarity with retail environments is advantageous.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
– Provided with a van and fuel card for work-related travel.
– On-call duty at a rate of 1 in 6, with standby compensation at £120 for the week with additional for call outs.
– Unpaid 30 minutes of travel each way (not included in working hours).
– Overtime rates: Time and a half on weekdays after 5 pm and Saturdays before 1 pm. Double time on Sundays, bank holidays, and all other times.
