We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef for renowned Oxford University site, boasting hundreds of years of heritage. The College sits right at the heart of this amazing city and offers students a variety of catering options from your typical lunch service, grab and go, through to more fine dining options for end of term dinners and functions. The College also has a very busy Conference & Banqueting department, which is open to the public to make general enquiries about for a special event.

As Sous Chef Oxfordshire, you will a very important part of the catering operation, where you will add massive value to the food offering, whilst helping to oversee a team of 7 chefs. We are looking for someone ideally with their level 3 NVQ too.

This role really is a mixed bag of function, fine dining and general food prep, so we are looking for someone that can wear lots of different hats. The food offering here is of a very high level, so previous experience in fine -dining would be a massive advantage as well as preparing less refined dishes. Everything here is made from scratch using fresh produce and the College also supports local butchers'.

This Sous Chef role in Oxford is based on a 40 hour week, on a rota basis created by you and the Head Chef.
