Employee Relations Co-ordinator
Reporting into the Assistant ER Manager your role will be to field incoming calls to the ER team. The calls will be on a variety of issues ranging from straightforward T&A and general enquiries which you will help with to complex ER issues which you will need to escalate with all the necessary details to the relevant ER Specialists.
This role would suit someone who has a good basic understanding of employee relations, takes pride in providing excellent service and is keen to develop their employee relations knowledge further.
For the immediate future this role will be based at home. However, the postholder will be required to attend the Croxley office as and when required, in particular for induction and training purposes
Responsibilities in brief:
To provide an efficient, professional and customer focused first response service to the Depots and Support functions.
Work in partnership with the ER Specialists in order to ensure queries are either responded to or escalated within specified time frame
Respond to generally queries in relation to policies and procedures including navigating our Intranet site
Ability to handle large call volumes and the occasional challenging personality in a polite and professional manner is essential
Ensure advice given is within remit of co-ordinator role, legally compliant and in line with Company policies and procedures.
Update case log as and when necessary to ensure ER Specialists have all relevant information as and when required.
Support ER Specialists with administration including letters, invites, absence and AWOL processes
Produce own correspondence, maintain records (we are a paperless office) update all relevant data and correctly file all documents.

Excellent telephone manner and general communication skills both written and oral
Commercially astute and ideally from a customer focused/service related background
Excellent organisational and administration skills
Proficient in MS Office
