Job Description:Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with commercial maintenanceexperience? Are you looking for a company to offer up skilling and training?They are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who has experience workingwithin commercial environments carrying out all areas of Electricalmaintenance (Mobile role and static role) and minor remedial tasks. This is mainly a Monday to Fridayrole but will require some weekend work and call outs. This will be focused on variouscommercial sites, the role will be covering Swindon and the surroundingareas.Package includes:LSalary £37kCore hours Monday to FridayAnnual leave (25 days + 8 Bank Holidays)Pension SchemeTraining and Development CoursesNo Use of pool van whilst on siteNo Call outOvertimeRequirements / Qualifications:Qualification in either of these are preferred but not essential and clients will look at someone who has time served experience.NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Technology (the main one that includes AM2, ECS, Gold Card, C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection) = ideal qualificationCity & Guilds Level 3 Electrical InstallationsCity & Guilds 2391 Testing and InspectionThe 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018, wiring regs, the regs) – 17th edition is the slightly older/out of date version but is still accepted by some clientsPAT testingDay to Day Duties:Lighting- Change of lamps and ballastsEmergency light testingPower distributionElectrical fault-findingSmall works – new sockets, new lights, new circuitsPAT TestingControl Panel maintenanceTransformersStar Delta StartersRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
