E C&I Engineer – E3 Recruitment
E C&I Engineer to join one of the world’s leading chemical manufacturers within the agriculture and fine chemicals industry based in Norwich for a salary up to £40,000 per annum.
The company has been active for over 60 years gaining a strong reputation within its delivery to customer needs utilizing its broad assets and technology.
As an E C&I Engineer you will have knowledge and application of PLC and DCS systems, namely Rockwell and/or Siemens S7.
Ability to prioritise demands over a number of systems across a single site ensuring cost-effective delivery to the site.
To be successful in this position as a E C&I Engineer you will need to have qualified to HNC, HND or degree level in electrical, electronic or control engineering.
You must understand in-depth knowledge of applicable legislation including HaSaWA, COMAH, DSEAR, CompEx and relevant HSE Codes of Practice.
Responsibilities of a E C&I Engineer
Plan, prioritise and carry out inspection, design, maintenance and testing in accordance with the planned maintenance management system.
Have the relevant E C&I Engineer expertise to make an immediate positive impact on the performance of the manufacturing plants.
Have the ability to work on both a macro and micro scale as the work requires it, and be able to balance the varied demands of many internal customers on and off the productions units.
Balance a range of technical responsibilities.
Ability to implement Process Improvement Techniques.
Experience of effectively manage sub-contractors.
