DevOps Engineer | Azure | Terraform | 100% Remote (UK)
Our client, a 30-year-old niche software development company, are looking to hire a DevOps engineer to take ownership of the DevOps practices in their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an automation-first mindset to come in and help elevate the client’s SDLC, deploying and streamlining Azure cloud-based infrastructure.
The DevOps Engineer will join the Technical Services team, reporting to the Technical Services Manager and take responsibility for building, supporting, and maintaining new and existing cloud-hosted services based primarily on Microsoft Azure. You will work hand in hand with developers taking over the DevOps practices that they have been currently carrying out themselves, freeing them up and allowing you to leave your own mark on the processes.
They’re headquartered in Stevenage, with 35 people in the business. However, this role is 100% remote and so can be done from anywhere in the UK, as long as you have the availability to go into the office maybe once a month for team events or customer meetings.
Essential Skills:
- Cloud (Azure)
- Terraform
Bonus if you have:
- Kubernetes (AKS)
- Flux CD – Any CI/CD tool will be ok.
- Git, Bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Docker
- Windows Server, Linux, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
- Phyton, Go Rust, (one of the following or something similar)
