ABC Teachers, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our schools in Swadlincote and the surrounding areas.About the roleABC Teachers is currently looking for a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join us, providing support to secondary schools in Swadlincote.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment.Maintain discipline and manage behaviour in accordance with school policies.Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.Adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups as required.About the schoolThis is a great opportunity to gain experience across various inclusive and supportive Secondary Schools in the local area. The schools we work with mostly have on-site parking and nearby public transport links.RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Experienced cover supervisor you will:Previous experience working with secondary school students.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.Flexible schedule to accommodate varied school needs.Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years.ABC Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
