Fourblue have partnered with one of the market leading renewable energy companies in the UK. Our client provides a EPC full turnkey service for the development, construction and maintenance for grid scale solar and battery storage projects.
Due to growth, there is a requirement for a cost engineer to to join the project services team and will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and reporting the cost of the projects.

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and analysing costs
- Cooperating and interfacing with project managers to help them meet budgeting goals
- Writing reports and presenting information to key stakeholders
- Developing and adjusting budgets
- Researching to find opportunities to reduce expenses
- Evaluating project requirements to provide vital resources, including financial and human resources
- Collaborating with project managers to create effective budgets
- Researching the costs of items such as materials, transport, labour, and equipment
- Calculate, analyse and modelling cost estimates
Requirements:
- HNC or equivalent in a technical discipline (engineering, cost, project controls)
- Relevant experience in the energy, utilities, construction sector
- Renewable energy experience is desirable
- Willing to travel
