Contracts Coordinator

Contracts Coordinator – Spider is advertising on behalf of a highly successful world-class manufacturer of centrifugal pumps, based at Rendlesham, Suffolk.

Due to its continued global development strategy, the company is seeking a dynamic Contracts Coordinator to strengthen its existing Projects Department and contribute towards the continued growth of its business.

This role of Contracts Coordinator will see the successful candidate providing timely and accurate support to the company’s Contracts Department and Project Coordinators. There is both a proactive and reactive element to the role, with the main function ensuring the workload of the Project Support Team, documentation, and contract ‘back office’ tasks are effectively managed and recorded through the company’s DMS – Documents Management System.

Candidates will need to be competent and comfortable with fulfilling daily workload and priorities, as well as providing key back-office support including maintaining contact minutes and progress reports on key projects.

The other key duties and responsibilities for this position are:

Reviewing the daily contracts mailbox and allocating to appropriate area
Managing documentation through the company’s DMS
Attending Introduction and Customer kick-off meetings as support if required
Updating project production plans following progress review with Project Coordinator
Attending weekly progress meetings with Customers as support.

Previous experience of working within an operational Contracts/Projects Department or equivalent would be beneficial, although this is not essential. Of high importance will be the ability to quickly learn the company’s DMS thus ensuring key priorities and status are visible throughout the lifecycle of an order. There will be required a daily interaction with both Customers and the internal departments responsible for procurement, engineering, and manufacturing. Other significant skills and attributes required for successful performance in this role include being planned, organised, and driven, good routine monitoring skills and the ability to build relationships with others.

This Contracts Coordinator position is a Full-Time position. On offer is a competitive salary (depending on experience), as well as excellent benefits including:
