Full time/ office based

Salary: £18,657.60 PA – £20,800 PA (depending on relevant demonstrable experience)

Monday – Friday. Weekly rotation: Week 1: 8am – 5pm/ Week 2: 9:30am – 6:30pm (40 hour working week)

Ascendant Recruitment are thrilled to be recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor of behalf of their long-established client based in Brackmills. This will be a telephony customer service role, you will spend the majority of your day speaking to customers on the phone (not sales) booking in scheduled deliveries. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, confident on the phone and are happy working in a fast paced contact centre. If you have customer service this is the right role for you!

Job duties of Customer Service Advisor:

You will contact customers on the database to arrange their routine deliveries; all calls will be treated with strict GDPR procedures.
Handle incoming telephone calls from customers, ensuring calls are answered promptly and professionally. These calls will often be "call backs" from previous outbound calls.
Update local systems ensuring that full details are maintained of contact with customers and relevant notes of any discussions
Maintain customer service emails and ensure that responses are provided within a timely manner
Understanding individual needs of the customers, able to act compassionately, whilst showing empathyIn summary: your role will be 80% telephone based and 20% administration based; using bespoke company system, responding to emails and general daily administration tasks.
