Caddy Group are seeking a talented and experienced Construction Commercial Manager to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of the construction projects, ensuring profitability, managing risk, and fostering strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.Key Responsibilities:* Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.* Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure favorable terms and minimize risks.* Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts to identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions as necessary.* Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks associated with construction projects, including changes in scope, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.* Manage claims and disputes arising from construction projects, working closely with legal counsel and project teams to resolve issues promptly and fairly.* Oversee the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications and budget constraints.* Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses, to senior management and project stakeholders.* Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and ensuring that project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and contractual obligations.* Select, onboard, and manage subcontractors and suppliers, evaluating performance and compliance with contractual requirements.Lead and motivate a team of commercial professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure individual and collective success.Qualifications:* Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a track record of successfully managing commercial aspects of large-scale projects.* In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, cost management techniques, and industry best practices.* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.* Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve common goals and objectives.* Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Office, project management tools, and accounting software
