Commercial Account Handler

Our client being a commercial brokerage based in Essex are looking for an Account Handler to manage an existing book of Commercial SME business including MTA’s and Renewals.

Develop relationships with key Clients and Suppliers. Adherence to contracted performance standards for the business and to cross sell products and identify clients have satisfactory cover.

Adherence to Internal Procedures and Processes in order to fully satisfy all Regulatory Requirements and ensure that all and/or Errors and Omissions are reported to the Compliance department. Adherence reporting procedures for both Internal and External Clients.

Build strong relationships with insurer partners. Identify new or alternative partnerships.

Negotiate contracts that benefit the customer and adhere to company guidelines

Ensure computer records are accurate and in accordance with company guidelines and procedures. Deal with Mid Term Adjustments for SME risks. Maintain renewal invites and retention expectations. Answer the telephone promptly, competently and politely. Liaise regularly with Managers and team members relevant to progression of the business.

Maintain a well-respected image, create and maintain high level relationship with all major suppliers/customers/insurers
