Business Development Manager (Welsh Essential)
We are thrilled to be working with one of the UK's fastest growing ethical Tech company on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced and commercially focused Business Development Manager to lead, and further expand their market growth in Wales.
We are looking for a fluent Welsh Speaker within this important position, as you will be conducting business meetings with first-language Welsh contacts regularly.
Our client is a tech company who provides online solutions for the public and private sectors to measure and maximise social responsibility and further contribute to an organisations' social value within the business community.
In this new role covering Wales, you will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy, achieve sales targets, and promote the company.
You will be energetic, self-motivated, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.
Responsible for delivering the company strategy and growing brand reputation across Wales.
Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customised targeted sales strategies.
Own and manage pipeline, forecasting, territory planning, and sales process.
Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, webinars, trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Creating and maintaining a (Salesforce) database of prospect clients and thorough client information.
Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls and demonstrations to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process.
Meet quarterly sales targets and maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software.
Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
Must be willing to travel to London HQ once per week to meet and collaborate with national Sales team.The Person:
Must be a fluent speaker of the Welsh language.
Demonstrated and proven sales results.
SaaS / professional services experience for a start-up, scale-up or mid-sized software business.
Experience selling into the Public, health, or blue light services sector.
Or public sector supply chain, specifically engineering or construction.
Real estate and financial services experience are also desirable.
Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.
Persuasive and goal-oriented.
Energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour.
Ability to develop and deliver professional and impressive presentations and portal demonstrations.
Attention to detail on proposals and contracts.
Evidence which demonstrates that you can achieve sales objectives, prioritise workload, work well under pressure and at pace.
Degree or Master level education or 3 years relevant experience needed.
Experience in sustainability or corporate social responsibility would be a bonus.The Package:
Base salary of 40-50k per annum plus uncapped, realistic OTE (additional 30k).
