ROLE – Business Development ManagerSALARY – £40,000- £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)TYPE – PermanentLOCATION – Surrey (Hybrid/Remote working is available)My client manufactures specialist equipment for a variety of industries. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in the Surrey area on a permanent basis.The Business Development Manager will ideally have the following attributes:Be an experienced Sales / Business Development Manager or Sales Representative looking to further their career into ManagementHave at least 5 years’ experience in a similar roleHave a background in Engineering, and be happy to get their hands dirty sometimesAble to understand technical drawingsA background in Rail, Aviation, Automotive or similar industries would be beneficialBe computer literate; proficient with using Microsoft Office and ERP software ideallyHave excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenHave strong customer relationship building skillsHave a great commercial awarenessGood negotiation skillsBe able to organise your own workloadBe able to travel overseas on occasion as requiredThe Business Development Manager role will involve:To support increasing demand by overseeing development and expansionPromoting the product rangeResearching and developing sales opportunitiesIdentifying and targeting new potential customers, executives, engineers and designersDeveloping relationships and promoting the company’s product range and design capability to increase salesPutting in place new sales plansSupporting the whole business strategyAlways providing excellent customer serviceBe involved in maintaining and also improving all client relationshipsStaying current with market sector trends as requiredWorking with the marketing team to improve brand recognition and to reach more peopleIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
