Business Development Manager
A successful and well-established supplier of educational supplies is currently looking to recruit a confident and ambitious Business Development Manager at their Colchester HQ. They will be expected to drive business growth through winning new business as well as maintaining existing customer relationships. You will be responsible for winning new business as well as maintaining and growing existing business through intelligent and tenacious phone activity, playing a key role in the company's growth. Working to realistic activity and revenue KPIs you will be expected to promote the company's product range to schools and colleges, establishing rapport and generating business. Initially you will be office-based but in time and once you have demonstrated success in the role you will have the opportunity to combine this with face to face customer visits.
o A proven track record of exceeding targets and KPIs in previous phone-based sales roles
o Resilient, skilled in generating new business, closing sales and developing long standing relationships
