Business Development Executive
This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading technology company as a business development executive from our Cardiff Office.
We are looking for a passionate and tenacious individual with business development experience. The role is perfect for an energetic and ambitious person with experience in telemarketing, telesales, account managing and business development.
As a business development executive, you will be given responsibility from day one as you will be contacting potential customers and supporting them to make an informed decision based on their needs.
We are a leading provider of manufacturing technologies, to help manufacturers on their digital transformation to get leaner, more agile and more productive, and create productive and intelligent manufacturing ecosystems.
We support more than 400 manufacturers across the UK, including Bentley Motors, Darchem and Airbus, alongside. And recently began working on the UK’s first project to implement 5G into a manufacturing plant.
The ideal applicant will have:
Some relevant experience in a sales environment, ideally in a B2B role.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Proven experience and success in a consultative sales role are essential.
Team player mindset with ability to work on own initiative.
Proactive and self-motivated attitude towards sales targets.
An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently.
The role entails:
Pro-actively approaching business owners and decision makers through cold and warm calling.
Self-generate new leads, appointments, and referrals through day-to-day new business activity.
Building, managing, and maintaining sales pipelines.
Promoting service benefits.
Adhering to call compliance and FCA guidelines.
Achieving sales targets and KPIs.
