Business Analyst
Location: Fleet

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

My client based in Fleet is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate

will work as part of a project team to understand and interrogate business issues to scope requirements for change and produce project documentation.
The Business Analyst will support the Project Manager deliver the project in accordance with the project governance framework through the delivery of detailed analysis and support of project implementation deliverables.

Daily Duties

Process and data mapping across all business areas

Analysing data sets to investigate issues and identify trends to support the definition of project requirements

Interrogation of loan accounts to identify activity undertaken

Leading workshops and working with stakeholders to discuss investigations and findings

Performing data and information gathering, root cause analysis and performance/behavioural trend analysis to faciltitate the development of appropriate process control changes

Documentation of requirements and recommendations

Supporting the production of product documentation and reporting.

Assisting Project Managers and Team Managers in the production and maintenance of project artefacts

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvements to ensure performance aligns with organisational expectations and regulatory requirements

Designing and developing processes, working with process owners or project team members to deliver process improvements.

This role requires compliance with the FCA Conduct Rules at all times. Training will be provided.

Key Performance

Essential

GCE/GCSE English and Maths or equivalent

Mortgage experience

Business Analysis experience

Intermediate-advanced Excel skills

Self-starter with ability to prioritise and react to fast moving business environment

Organised with excellent time management

Good written communication skills including written presentations

Comfortable working with large data sets

Ability to work and influence successfully within a professional environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of stakeholders

Experience working in a governance/control focussed function within a financial services business
