Business Administration Apprentice

At Anglian we are recruiting for an Apprentice to join the HR team. We have some new opportunities, and we are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our HR and L & D Team. This vital entry level role will support the HR team by digitising learning documentation, help with the designing of or sourcing training and learning solutions and evaluating training, by working with a variety of stakeholders and business area managers.

The role requires study and completion of the relevant apprenticeship qualification, you will complete a minimum of 20 per cent for study and off the job training to complete this course.

 About the role

Provide 1st line support on our Learning Management System and processes
Support new users and company departments with appropriate induction and learning courses
Report on outstanding training courses using the Learning Management Systems reporting and raw data
Help review and update current statutory, mandatory, and additional training courses available in the group
Ensure Anglian is compliant on external and internal training needs by liaising with other stakeholders and EHS dept including locating and logging training from around the business
Consistently support colleagues and collaborate within the team and L&D to achieve results.
What you will learn

Learn about organisational process, policy and culture
Foundation level theories and models that underpin effective adult learning and group behaviour. For example, training/learning cycle, group dynamics, continuing professional development, evaluation.
What different learning delivery channels, face-to-face, blended, or digital contribute to effective learning
The policies and processes required for effective organisation learning
Research of delivery options and resources including digital, online, or blended solutions (including identifying existing resources)
Planning programmes, sessions and modules
What we Need

Numeracy and literacy skills, minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
Ability and willingness to study a relevant qualification which includes 20 percent off the job training
Accurate and organised record keeping skills
Good observation and information gathering skills, able to identify and gather relevant and necessary evidence
Experience using and working with Microsoft application like Word and Excel
Ability to remain calm and focussed during confrontational and pressured situations
