Academics are currently looking to recruit a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Teacher of Biology for an Ofsted rated school of ‘Good’ in the Cheshire East. This opportunity is full-time, commences after the May half-term break, and work will be guaranteed until the end of the academic year (July 2024).Our partnership school is known for their ambitious and respectful students who benefit from a well-planned curriculum. Triple Science as a subject within this school that is tremendously popular with students; with estimated around 50% of the year group opting to take on the separate sciences for further study. Our wonderful school invests heavily in staff’s professional development and offers the opportunity to advance your teaching career.Role RequirementsThe relevant Biology qualification(s): PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons, with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).A genuine passion for teaching Science, with the ability to deliver fun and engaging lessons.Good knowledge of the national curriculum and that you are able to teach up to KS4.Outstanding communication skills and can build good rapport with students.An energetic, positive, and ‘can-do’ attitude!Strong behaviour management.A current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).Please be aware for our long term opportunities you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.Academics are a leading national education agency that specialises in the recruitment of permanent, long term and daily supply teachers and support staff.
